Although it is not always obvious where the sun is in relation to the camera lens in a video still, and it may even appear that the sun was obscured, it becomes evident that the sun was indeed shining and reflecting off the camera lens when one views the video footage in it's entirety. Like video footage, photographs can produce similar lens flares that may be mistaken for "UFO's" and other objects when taken out of context.

Note - One key characteristic of lens flare are multiple images one after the other like carbon copies in a row. Lens flares can also occur as individual images.
